OOTD

And I, would answer all your wishes, if you asked me too.
But if you deny me one of your kisses, don't know what i'd do.
So hold me close and say three words like you used to do.
Dancing on the kitchen tiles, it's all about you.

Obsessing over neon at the moment, i can't get enough.

Favourite Quote Of The Week!

“I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”

Hopefully this will catch on and you can post on your own blogs.

Festival Essentials

When you think of festivals you probably think of the music and the fancy dress and the drinking (responsibly  of course) and the weekend of laughs.

Buttt.... it's not always like that with all the mud and no showers and generally awful sanitary conditions, gross.

I'm going T in the Park this year, YES BITCHES.

Nevertheless there are simple ways around this.

1. Wet wipes

A must! Removes make up, cleans oil and dirt off, can be used to clean your shoes or the tent or yourself when you're not showering, i suggest Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes. These also help to control the oils on your face, well done katie, that's pretty obvious.

2. Loo roll

The toilet's at the festival will be horrific so prepare for the worst, they don't have their own loo roll so take your own! You can also use this for cleaning mud off shoes or your tent, multi-purposes eh.

3. Dry Shampoo

Life Saver, instead of washing your hair, it also adds volume too and you can get Batiste in lots of different types, my favourites are Blush and Tropical.

4. Deodorant

Pretty obvious one but it helps to prevent sweat, freshen up and mask the smell of general-grossness.

5. Mouthwash/mints

Lets be honest, are you going to spend the time brushing your teeth twice a day? I think not, these are an easy alternative.

6. Wellies

Of course, the only shoes you can actually wear at a festival, be warned it will be so muddy.

May Favourites

Make Up

As you may already know i have extremely oily skin so i've been trying out different primer's to actually make my make up stay on my face, This is Too Faced Shadow Insurance which is an eye primer for eyeshadow's. On my skin it works amazing and makes my eye make up not settle in creases and literally disappear. I can't go a day without this now.

Hair

My hair has been incredibly dry recently because it's been dyed a lot so i decided to buy this rather expensive hair mask (like a deep conditioner) to strengthen the ends. I have fallen in love with this, it makes me hair so so soft and smells amazing, a summer must-have. I think you can only buy it in a Wella salon though. :(

Skin

I have been loving Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser recently when i'm in the bath or before i go to bed, it removes all the dirt and oil from your face and leaves it so soft! Can't stop stroking my face after i've used this eek.

Scent

Mmmmm i am obsessed with this smell which is called Mist You Madly by Soap&Glory. Which features notes of bergamot (what the?), blackcurrant, magnolia, freesia, vanilla and musk. To me it smells so flirty and summery just like a girl should, i have been getting a few compliments about this and so rightly on the label it warns you to mist at your own risk.

Lifestyle

I have had an annoying time with magazines lately as i used to get Vogue however all the clothes and make up was far too out of my budget and pages after pages of adverts were boring me. I then switched to Elle which is practically the same. And then suddenly out of nowhere i picked up this holy grail, barely any adverts, a sleek matte front cover and packed full or teenage and affordable outfits etc. Plus at only £2.50, bargain. I love you Company Magazine.

Elf lipsticks review

I must have the oiliest skin in the world, whenever i wear eyeshadow it comes off in about 0.2 seconds, there is literally no point. Recently I've been resorting to my fail safe eyeliner and mascara and a bright lip. My favourite's at the moment have been the elf basic range lipsticks which you can find here.

They have such a range and they're just to tempting not too.
They're staying power is not the best, but who cares! They're so soft and creamy to apply and smell so nice of sweets (be warned it is quite a strong smell). Quite a lot of people said that the pictures aren't true to colour but mine are, hmm.. mysterious.

Sociable

This is a bright neon pink which i think is perfect for summer! I wear this lipstick far too much, its so girly.

Fearless

My goodness this red is so bright im blind, its such a beautiful orange toned red mmmm i love it.
Gypsy

Favourite colour everrr! It's a really subtle purpley-pink that's not as pigmented as the other too, strange. But the colour is so wearable and beautiful.
